PRIVACY OVERVIEW
Understand where your data goes.
This overview describes the application's current data flows. It is not a promise that every action stays on your device.
Browser projects
Projects saved in your local workspace use this browser's local storage. Clearing site data can remove them. Download a project backup before switching browsers or devices. The visual preview, spreadsheet parsing, and supported local calculations run in your browser.
AI analysis
AI requests send a data profile, limited sample rows, your question, and relevant calculation context to the application's server and configured AI provider. Do not submit confidential information unless your organization permits that provider. An AI request is separate from ordinary chart editing.
Cloud computation
Cloud analysis uploads the dataset you explicitly choose to the configured storage and worker services. These requests use a server-issued session. Availability and data retention depend on the installed infrastructure and its configuration.
Publishing
Publishing shares a selected visualization and its data through a public link or embed. A public recipient can inspect the values represented in that visualization. Use the publication controls to manage published versions. Revoking a publication does not erase copies another person has already downloaded.
Other services
Hosting and infrastructure providers may process request information needed to deliver the service. External map tile layers, when selected, contact their tile provider. Fonts used by the application are bundled locally. Exports are downloaded to your device.
Source access
Datamon is a private product, not an open-source project. The data flows described here reflect the current implementation.
