GETTING STARTED
From a spreadsheet to a clearer view.
Start with your own data or an editable template. Datamon keeps browser projects on this device and saves changes as you work.
1. Add and check your data
Paste cells from a spreadsheet or import CSV, TSV, or Excel. Use a header row with clear field names. Review detected column types, missing values, and formatted numbers in Data. Decimal commas and decimal points are supported.
2. Choose a useful visualization
Visualize recommends charts from the structure of your dataset. Map data connects columns to axes, measures, categories, and regions. For a map, use the region review to resolve names that do not match automatically.
3. Refine the details
Set the title, description, source, colors, typeface, text sizes, labels, and annotations. Width and height controls set your export dimensions; drag the preview handles to resize. Device buttons let you inspect narrower layouts. Line markers are optional and the default line is smooth.
4. Ask Datamon
The Visualize workspace includes Datamon Intelligence. Try “calculate CAGR” or “show correlation” for computed local analysis. Ask for an explanation to use the configured AI provider. Review proposed changes before applying them. Provider availability depends on server configuration; local charting and supported calculations still work without it.
5. Export or publish
Export generates PNG, SVG, PDF, or PowerPoint from the actual chart. Publish creates a public web visualization and embed when the publication service is configured. Published visualizations include their data: use only material you intend to share. Google Slides and Canva integrations, along with a dashboard authoring workspace, are coming soon.
